Getting Started with Trezor Suite®

Step 1: Unbox and Connect Your Trezor Device

Before you dive into the Trezor Suite, you'll first need to unbox your Trezor hardware wallet and connect it to your computer. Inside the box, you should find:

  3. Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the instructions to install Trezor Suite® on your computer.

Important: Always download the Trezor Suite from the official Trezor website to ensure the software is authentic and secure. Never use third-party websites! 🚨

Step 3: Launch Trezor Suite®

After installing the software, open Trezor Suite on your computer. You will be greeted with a welcome screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Trezor device to the software. You will see a notification to “Connect your Trezor device.”

Once connected, the Suite will automatically detect your device and guide you through the initial setup process. 📲💻

Setting Up Your Trezor Wallet

Step 4: Create a New Wallet

If this is your first time using a Trezor device, you’ll need to create a new wallet. During this process, you'll generate a recovery seed, a set of 12 or 24 words that allow you to recover your wallet if the device is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Create New Wallet" option.
  2. The Trezor device will generate your recovery seed. Write down the seed on the provided recovery card. Do NOT save it digitally!
  3. Confirm the recovery seed on the device to ensure you've written it down correctly.
  4. Choose a PIN code to protect your device from unauthorized access.

Tip: Store your recovery seed in a secure place, such as a fireproof safe. Never share it with anyone! 📜
